Dark Chocolate, Chikoo(Sapodilla), Banana Smoothie

Ingredients #

  • 2 Bananas
  • 3-5 ripe Chikoo(Sapodilla) peeled and pitted or Blueberries(1 cup).
  • Few leaves of baby spinach.
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds.
  • Few cashews soaked in water at least 1 to 2 hours.
  • 2 tablespoons cacao powder.
  • Approximate 8 ounces of almond milk.
  • 1/2 teaspoon of honey, agave or maple syrup or brown sugar.

Method #

  1. Rinse your baby spinach in lukewarm water.
  2. Add all of the ingredients with almond milk to a blender.
  3. Blend until everything is mixed (about 30 to 40 seconds)
  4. Add water or more almond milk if the mixture is too thick.

Health Benefits of Chikoo #  Chikoo is very rich in fiber, vitamins, minerals and sugars like sucrose and fructose. So consumption of Chikoo is good for digestion and gastritis and it’s a natural boosting energy food . Chikoo helps in preventing the occurrence of colon cancer, oral cavity and lung cancer. There are plenty of nutritional benefits but I indicate few only.
