Green Pesto (Chutney)

Coriander helps to remove heavy metals from body, and holy Basil and mint also helpful to eliminating toxins from body. This is one of the quick and easy chutney. Use as a Spreader in sandwich or with a starter or as a Dip.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Coriander Leaves
  • ¼ cup Mint Leaves
  • 1 Tbsp. Holy Basil Leaf (Optional)
  • 2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
  • 1-3 Green Chili or 2-5 ground Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp. Cumin Seeds
  • 1 inch Piece of Ginger
  • 1 tbsp. Sesame seeds white( Like to add for creamy texture)
  • Salt
  • ½ tsp. Brown Sugar (optional)

      Method

  1. Wash and clean coriander, Basil and mint leaves.
  2. In a blender jar or in Mortal add all leaves, green chili, ginger, lemon juice, cumin seeds, sesame seeds, sugar and salt.
  3. Add water as required (2-3 tbsp.). Cover the lid and blend, make a paste.
  4. Remove it into the bowl or any jar.
  5. Green Chutney is ready to serve.
