Instant Garlicky Mango Pickle

This is one of easiest delicious, mouth watering and quickly prepared pickle. Taste great with fresh garlic.


  • 1 Medium unripe mango
  • ½ Tbsp. Crushed garlic
  • ½ Tbsp. Red Chili Powder
  • ½ Tsp. Fenugreek Seeds
  • Pinch of Hing (Asafetida)
  • 1 Tea Spoon Turmeric
  • ½ Spoon Coriander Seeds
  • 2 Tbsp. Sesame Oil
  • Salt to Taste


  1. Wash fresh unripe mango and dry thoroughly.
  2. Dry roast Fenugreek and coriander seeds and let them cool.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, let it cool.
  4. Chop Mango in medium cubes; add them to a dry bowl, along with red chili powder, hing, and salt.
  5. Ground Fenugreek seeds along with coriander seeds and Fresh Garlic, add in bowl.
  6. Pour oil and mix well. Set aside for 6-8 hours.
  7. Stir mango pickle well and store in a clean jar. Enjoy with Khichadi, Paratha or with any dish.
